Nevada Adoption Information Class

 

This class introduces the topic of adoption with an overview of the types of adoption and the steps involved in becoming an adoptive parent/family. The class is applicable to those families who are considering special needs, domestic infant, and/or international adoptions. It is led by an adoption professional and, when available, an adoptive parent/family will share their experiences.

Common steps to adoption

  • Types of adoption (infant, international, special needs)
  • Working with public or private adoption agencies
  • What's a home study?
  • How to be an informed consumer of adoption services
